Production Celebration Ceremony" was held today (November 22) in Ganzhou District, Zhangye City. Subsequently, Chairman Zhang Weiming provided a detailed introduction to the Siiico Technology (Zhangye) Plastic Recycling Industry Park project. This project focuses on high proof film and seed small packaging bags, and produces plastic products such as high proof film recycled materials and packaging shrink films to build a complete circular industry chain. The high proof film is easy to recycle and has the advantages of increasing crop yield and income. It will provide high-tech support for solving white pollution of plastic film and improving crop yield. At the same time, Zhang Weiming also shared two good news with the guests on site: firstly, the company has become a supplier of high-strength plastic film for the 2024 scientific use and recycling pilot project of plastic film in Ganzhou District this year; The second one is the field water-saving experiment conducted with Gaobao film this year, which has shown excellent water-saving and fertilizer saving effects, arousing great interest among industry insiders. Gaobao film can play a greater role in building a new benchmark for a water-saving society in the country in the new era.

Researcher Yan Changrong gave a report on the characteristics and development trends of plastic film covering technology in China to the guests at the ceremony. He stated that plastic film covering is crucial and indispensable for ensuring the safety of agricultural products in China, and will be in stable and continuous use for a long time to come; Plastic film pollution has already caused substantial harm to farmland soil and environment, and is a major challenge that cannot be ignored or allowed to flow freely. It must be controlled; Improving the physical and mechanical strength and aging resistance of plastic film, as well as increasing its recyclability after use, are the key to solving the residual pollution of our plastic film. At the same time, Yan Changrong has been tracking the application of high barrier film for many years, fully affirming the effectiveness of using high barrier film that can achieve extremely high strength without thickening, and highly recognizing the development of the project.

Academician Qu is an expert in the field of polymer material processing equipment in China.
